Hooo Is It?  Halloween and Costume Theme Envelope Book

It has been a long time since I have worked on scrapbooking.  I decided to start with making my own after watching some videos on Youtube about making Envelope Books. I am creating the book from 6 x 9 inch envelopes and making my own binding.  I should've taken pictures during my progress but didn't think to.  I do have this picture which I sent to my daughter showing her what I was doing.

Using the Cricut Expression 2 has been a fun way to make embellishments for this book.  I have been using the Create A Critter 2, Simply Charmed, CTMH Artiste cartridges and the free weekly Craft Room cartridges for this project. Some of the graphic pictures I used I downloaded from posts on FB.  Some I printed on white cardstock and others I printed on glossy photo paper.  The haunted house I used vellum paper for the windows and moon.  Here are a few images I cut out using the Cricut.
My core stock 6 x 9 envelopes were some I had on hand and are white.  I have covered them using cardstock I got from JoAnne's "core'dinations Premium Cardstock Black Cat by Darice", DCWV The Spooky Time Stack and The Spooky Time Cardstock Stack.  The DCWV paper has been great paper to work with in the Cricut and book.  The core'dinations Premium black paper is leaving black lint (as I will call it) on my Cricut sticky mats and using the mat's tacky up faster then the other paper.  So after learning that I have been trying to avoid using it with the Cricut.  It works great for the "hinges" of my book.

Back to working on the book.
